The humble robin

A very common little bird seen in most British gardens is the Robin. It is a lovely colourful little bird.

They always seem to be so tame, flying right up to me and almost posing for the camera! In fact this one kept getting so close – I couldn’t zoom out far enough at times, with my telephoto lens attached.

This little fella was also very tame. I took a walk along the river during the winter. It was a very cold icy January day, when this little bird landed next to me. It came up very close and was not afraid of me, or that I was taking pictures of it!
