More Chicks

Today I thought I would share an image of the latest baby birds that have arrived at the wetlands in Arundel.

These baby coots were incredibly “needy” following their parents around the lake demanding food. The adult birds would dive to the bottom and bring up food, which would immediately be taken by these chicks.

One of the young birds was attempting to dive for food independently, but clearly was not having much success, as it kept demanding food every time the adult would appear!
