Signs of Summer

Today I wanted to share a recent photograph which, to me, really sums up the summer season.

My photo walks during the summer months are often about trying to capture the vast array of  bugs and beasties, usually found around colourful wild flowers.

The (not so) ugly bug ball. (Technical info: focal length 300mm, 1/1000 at f/8,ISO 400)

I captured this photograph last week and seeing so many creatures on one daisy really made me feel like summer is here. It is a shame that the weather is not in agreement with nature though!
