Vote for your favourite “Magnificent Meadows” image….

In August, I decided to enter some images into the Magnificent meadows photo competition. I found out this week that one of my images was chosen by the judges to be in the shortlist!

Magnificent meadows  is all about encouraging people to visit and learn about the species that can be seen in the countryside in the UK. In particular it is a partnership aimed at preserving the wildflower grasslands and the species that live in them.

The shortlisted image was this one of a flower beetle:

Female flower beetle. (Technical info: focal length 100mm, 1/1250 at f/6.3 ISO 500)

The winner will be chosen through a public vote via the partner sites. My image can be seen alongside the other finalists here. If you would like to vote for my image you can do so by “liking” it- I would very much appreciate it.  However, I am up against some wonderful images, so won’t be offended if you choose to cast your vote elsewhere!
