Award winning photography

The results are in….

The final results for 2017 have been released for the Guild of Photographers Image of the Month competition. I can now announce that I have two more award winning photographs to add to my collection! I have gained two more bronze bars in this tough and well respected competition.

This takes my total up to 14 bronze awards for 2017.  Therefore getting my photography recognised as achieving a consistently high level throughout the year. I am ridiculously excited by this result as it squashes those artist doubts that creep in and most of all gives me the confidence to keep selling my floral art.

Bronze awards for Floral photographs

I submitted more of my floral images this month, because those are the ones I am most proud of creating this year. As with the images I submitted last month, these images available to buy in my Redbubble shop. As a result there is even more pressure to ensure that I am producing a high quality product.

The award winning images this month were a bronze for my red Zinnia flower and another for the Red Flax flower.

The Guild of Photographers

I am particularly grateful to the judging panel, the staff at the Guild and the members, who all together make for a supportive professional network. It has been great fun entering each month, if a little nerve wracking waiting on the results!
