2 of 12 complete – here is February 52 frames

This year is flying by I can not believe we are already 1/6th of the year through already! Anyway, I have been busy this February capturing one image a week for my February 52 frames.

Week 5: Black and White (10-stop filter)

February 52 started with an open theme of black and white. This allowed me to create another of my fine art composite images. I had been thinking about incorporating an old key into an image, so used this as a starting point.

Week 6: Depth of Field (f/1.4)

This week I had to capture a shallow depth of field. None of my lenses stop down to f/1.4 so I couldn’t get the extra credit. As it was February I went for a love-themed image. Although mine was an alternative take on love!

Week 7: Unexplored (include a stranger)

This theme was the week of Storm Eunice hitting the UK. For obvious reasons I did not fancy heading out to explore somewhere new during gale force winds! Instead I decided to let my little Vampire go exploring instead! He took a walk up Garlic Mountain and was in for a shock!

Week 8: Rule of thirds (1/2000th or faster)

The final theme for February 52 was the rule of thirds. It was half term week for me and the kids so the week was pretty busy! I managed to snap this one that fits the brief (and the extra credit) on one of our days out!
