Summer is here and so is July 52!
Another month passes and I have another collection of images created for the 52 frames project. This month for July 52 I have been challenged further with so little time. My small child has officially left junior school now and it has been crazy busy with all the extra end-of-era stuff! However, I still managed to turn up, get the pics and learn something new! Don’t forget you can still check out my June 52 images if you missed them.
Week 26: Pattern (found in nature)
I decided to use one of our bearded dragons as a model this week. (Dragony – named by my daughter. FYI the male is called Beardy!) They have lovely patterns and textures on them and it seemed like another good opportunity to take some pictures of them.

Week 27: Negative Space (Street Photography)
It was a lovely warm day (before the crazy heat wave hit the UK). So I took myself off for a walk along the beach. I had a crazy busy week ahead, so took a window of opportunity to get out with my camera to capture the challenge before the week disappeared on me! A surprising number of opportunities presented themselves once I started to look, but this was my favourite! This image also got the bonus credit for capturing a street photograph.

Week 28:Silhouette (studio lighting)
I had a little play with a still life this week. This allowed me to get the extra credit for studio lighting. To get all the elements I wanted I had to take multiple images and blend them in photoshop.

Week 29:Common Object (product)
It was the last week of term for both my kids and me. So as you can imagine it was all a bit crazy! However, I still managed to squeeze in some time to capture a shot for the challenge this week. I even managed to get the extra credit!

Week 30:Single focus point (f/1.4)
I have just resigned from my day job for a promotion somewhere new. As a leaving gift, I was given a lens ball. This was perfect timing for the challenge this week. I was able to play with the ball to create a single focus point. It took a bit of practice to get the image in the ball in focus but it was great fun having a new toy to play with!
