The summer holidays have allowed plenty of time to get on with August 52.
With the summer holidays now over, it is time to reflect back on the images I produced for August 52. I have managed to continue my streak of producing one new image each week in the 52 frames project. This is despite being extra busy with the kids off school! Don’t forget to check out July 52 if you missed it!
Week 31:Choose a colour (generator)
I decided to use the generator and got the colour Glaucous. As I am still having fun with my new lens ball and wanted a true representation of this colour, I went for an abstract image and adjusted the colours in Photoshop.

Week 32: Night (Light Painting)
Continuing with my new obsession with my lens ball, I decided to use this for my subject again this week. I used a light torch borrowed from one of the kids and spun it around to get a fun reflection.

Week 33: water (1/8000)
We were away camping and having days out at theme parks this week, so I didn’t have my “big camera” with me for most of the week. I decided to test my iPhone out to get the image this week. This one was captured at Swanage with my little one swimming in the distance!

Week 34: Peace (use layer masks)
I wanted to use a candle in my image to represent peace. For me when I think about peace it is those quiet mindful moments of reflection. I was also able to get the extra credit as I used several layer masks to create this image.
