Winter is here and so is November 52

We are now well and truly into winter, with the weather finally remembering that we are in November and not June! The nights feel long and the evenings cosy. It is a sure sign that we are approaching the end of the year. So here is the penultimate month of my 52 frames project. Here is November 52. Don’t forget to check out October 52 if you missed it!

Week 44:Chaos (multiple exposures)

Since starting my new full-time job, this is what I wake up to every Saturday morning. Having not had a chance to get my camera out all week, it seemed like the perfect subject. With some creative zoom blur to add to the chaotic feeling. Also, this focuses on the teapot – the first thing I reach for on a Saturday morning!

Week 45: Street Photography (triangular composition)

This is another last-minute snap from me. This is a genre I really hate, so I couldn’t even get brave enough to take out my “big camera”. It felt more discreet with my iPhone. I captured this lady walking away after a very brief conversation between them all.

Week 46: Food Photography (liquid splash)

I wanted to create one of my dark composite images for the challenge this week. For my subject, I decided to give the apple a mouth! I thought turning a simple apple into something that might bite back would be fun!

Week 47: wabi sabi (abandoned building)

Wasi sabi is the art of embracing the imperfections in the world around us. I love looking at the autumnal leaves as they change in colour and structure as the season changes. The fragile framework of this fallen leaf fascinated me.
