Musical-themed image competition win
In May, I entered a couple of photos into the local village festival competition. I had to create a musical-themed image, which was a fun challenge!

With inspiration coming from the musicals I had to get creative! If you missed my blog about how I created my image, you can check it out.
One of my final images was a still life created using bits and pieces from around the house. I made a miniature version of Audrey II from the Little Shop of Horrors. This miniature scene was created using a pistachio nutshell, a weed from the garden and some red food colouring! I added some atmosphere with smoke from an incense stick.
The musical-themed image takes second place
The winning image was announced during the festival week. I was delighted to find out my image had been awarded second place.
