Images from Europe – Part 2: The Netherlands
Last month you may have read my blog about a recent trip to Europe. In that post, I shared some of the images I captured in Bruge. Today I thought I would share some images I captured on the same trip. This time they’re images from The Netherlands.

The main purpose of our trip to Holland was to visit some friends that we hadn’t seen for years. Although sightseeing was high on our agenda, we couldn’t go and not see some sights while we were there.
At the preference of the children, we had a day out at Amsterdam Zoo. This was a great opportunity for them to see some animals, while at the same time letting me capture some animal photos.
Here are some of my favourite captures from the visit.
I have mixed feelings about zoos, some of the enclosures can seem a little small for the animals. However, they are doing some great conservation research. Looking at these portraits did make me feel a little sad though as it looks as though these animals are not very happy!
