December 23 is here – the end of my photo-a-week challenge
As we say goodbye to 2023, I am finishing my 2023 52-week challenge. Here are my final set of images produced for December 23. Be sure to check out November 23 if you missed it
Week 49: Just Breathe (composite edit)
It was another tough week, so I forced myself to go on another well-being walk along the beach. The week’s theme helped me slow down for an hour and take in my surroundings.
Week 50: Choose a colour (chosen for you)
I decided to use the generator this week and was given Sandy Tan! Initially, I panicked, thinking this would be challenging! Then I noticed our Christmas gingerbread people were mostly this colour. So, the obvious choice was to create a Christmas image.
Week 51: unfinished (roll of 12)
I took my inspiration from The Mysteries of Harris Burdick this week. This book is full of pictures and very few words. Each image inspires you to imagine what happened next. I thought I would go with that idea here.
Week 52: Redo (the extra challenge)
I decided to redo Hold the Light as it had been a bad week, so I submitted a holding image. It was a chance to see if I could do better. The phrase “better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness” seemed apt, so I used that as inspiration for my redo!
