Winter Architecture added to the stock library

Over the last few weeks I have managed to get out and about to capture some new images for my stock library collection. In particular, I have added some winter architecture.

Winter architecture

So what makes winter architecture so special? The lovely thing about capturing buildings at this time of year is the soft light. On bright sunny days in the summer, the light creates high contrast and harsh shadows. At this time of year there is a softer look which is far more complementary to most subjects.

I was inspired to get out a photograph building for one of the themes in January 24. This is my 52 frames project where I take a new image each week on a given theme.

Buildings in Worthing

I spent the afternoon in the town of Worthing in West Sussex. There are some really interesting buildings in the area. Some of which have been around for over 100 years, others being more modern, and sometimes contraversial!

Available to buy

As ever I have uploaded this image to my stock library. My portfolio over on Alamy has a wide range of subjects, so it is worth checking out to see what there is! Why not take a look now?
