Images from the sky
You may have been following my adventures from Sicily over the last few weeks. On the way home from the beautiful island, I managed to capture some images from the sky. So I thought I would share these with you today.
Flying home
We have got to the point in my family where the kids are old enough that they are not bothered by having a window seat on the plane. I find that a bit strange as I love a window seat! So with the family happy for me to take it, I made the most of the photo opportunities on the way home.
It was a little upsetting as I was on the wrong side of the plane for a view over Sicily as we took off. However, I managed to capture this one as the plane banked after taking off.

The Alps – images from the sky
Later in the flight, we flew over the Alps, and I managed to get this image – which I love! I love the shafts of sunlight coming down to light the snow-covered peaks.

It was a great adventure but all good things have to come to an end. Now, on to planning the next one!
