Grunge Textured Poison Pen: Featured image for July 24
Summer is finally here! It felt like it would never arrive! Anyway, this can only mean one thing. Here is another set of images for 52 frames, here is July 24. If you missed June 24, be sure to go back and check it out.
Week 27: Triangular composition (fashion)
I spent a day at a conference this week and received this novelty pen in my goody bag! It was asking to be a subject for a new photo! I liked the idea of the theme “poison pen” (unfortunately it seems to be a common vibe online these days). To add to this negative theme I added a dark, grungey texture to the image.
Week 28: Spoon (humour)
Another find in my “box of old things” uncovered this silver spoon. I gave the edit some texture and converted it to black and white for an antique feel.
Week 29: Shape with Light (use one strip light)
I knew I wanted to dig out my skelly for this challenge. The textures and shapes lend themselves to creating depth with light.
Week 30: Water (1/4000th)
This sums up the weather outside right now! I had wanted to do a creative oil on water or water splash for this challenge, but as I am having my kitchen renovated, there is not any space in my house right now! So a quick pop out into the garden did the job!
Week 31: Distortion (vaseline)
I dug out my lens ball again for this challenge. I used an image from a couple of weeks ago as a background image, then flipped it around with the distortion of the glass ball.
