Floating candle art receives a gold award with the NPS!
Every so often, I like to enter my images into various photographic awards to see how well they are received. Many times I am disappointed with the results. However, on some occasions, my images are reasonably successful. Last month I was ecstatic to get my first gold award from the National Photographic Society. I received gold for my floating candle art.
Floating candle wins gold
I created this image after a prompt from the 52 frames project that I took part in. This project gives me a new theme each week and I have to capture an image. The theme was levitation which lent itself nicely for me to create a magical fantasy image.
It was very exciting as I had never one a gold before. I have had several Highly Commended images with them. But to get gold for my floating candle has blown me away!
