Featured in the Top 52 eggs gallery!
Last month I was thrilled to discover that one of my images had been selected to feature in the top 52 eggs gallery! Each week a panel go through the weekly themed entries and pick out their favourite images. My egg image was one of them!

Back in March, one of the themes for the 52 frames project was “eggs”. Initially, I wasn’t thrilled by this topic as it wasn’t very inspiring. So that got me thinking. How could I create something a bit different with this rather mundane object?
This is when I came up with the idea of creating a floating UFO over my local beach.

After I had submitted my image I started to notice that I was recieving more comments than usual. I found this strange, but was really pleased that people liked it. Then, when I looked through the 52 picks gallery I discovered that this image had been selected. I was thrilled that one of my images made so many people smile!
