June 25: another month of my 52 frames project

Summer has arrived and so has June 25! Here are my latest selection of images from my 52 frames project. If you missed May 25 be sure to go back and check that out too.

Week 22: Through the looking glass (Refraction)

I dusted off my lens ball again this week. It rarely comes out these days so it was fun to play with it again. I created a nod to Alice in Wonderland with the pattern I selected to display on my iPad behind the ball.

Week 23: Use the wrong lens (wide open/Closed)

I dusted off my wide angle lens this week.It is not one I use very often, so it was fun to play with it again. I wanted to create an animal portrait with it, and decided the only animal that would let me get close enough would be my bearded dragon. So here she is!

Week 24: Street Details (Black and White)

I took a walk up a multi-story carpark to get an alternative perspective on the town. I liked this view with the mix of architecture.

Week 25: Daily Routine (self portrait)

I am very excited to be travelling to Japan this summer. To get myself prepared I have been using an app to help me learn some Japanese. It has become my daily ritual to complete at least one lesson. I am not sure how much I will remember when I get there, but at least I will know some basic words and phrases!
