A New Perspective: London from the Eye
New Cityscape Photography Now Available on Alamy

Telephoto view from the London Eye, featuring the BT Tower and London’s iconic architecture
There’s something truly special about viewing London from above. The London Eye offers one of the most breathtaking panoramas of the capital, and recently I had the opportunity to capture that view through my lens — focusing not just on the grandeur, but the intricate mix of old and new that defines this city’s skyline.
These images are now live and available to license through my Alamy photo library — perfect for editorial, commercial, or creative use.
Behind the Shot
Perched inside one of the Eye’s glass capsules, I used a long lens to isolate key structures and compress the perspective. The result? Striking compositions that draw attention to London’s architectural diversity — from the retro-futurist BT Tower, to the grid-like façade of Centre Point, to the textured sprawl of rooftops that make up the city’s historic core.
The weather offered just the right level of clarity with a light summer haze — helping to layer the image with depth and mood.
