My Tokyo Photographs Are Now on Alamy!

I’m so excited to share that my photographs from Tokyo are now available on Alamy!

When I was exploring Tokyo, I had my camera with me constantly. The city is such a fascinating mix—one moment you’re standing under glowing neon signs in Shinjuku, the next you’re wandering through the calm grounds of a shrine tucked away between skyscrapers. I wanted to capture that balance of energy and stillness, modern and traditional, that makes Tokyo so unforgettable.

Why Alamy?

Alamy is known for valuing authentic, diverse photography, which made it the perfect platform for my Tokyo collection. I didn’t just want to share the polished, postcard-style images—I wanted to highlight the little details too: the side streets lit by lanterns, reflections in puddles after a summer rain, and the quiet moments of everyday life that make the city feel alive.

What’s Included

Some of the Tokyo images now on Alamy feature:

  • Neon-lit streets in Shinjuku and Shibuya
  • Traditional shrines nestled between modern buildings
  • The art deco style Docomo Tower
  • Everyday street scenes that show the rhythm of city life

What This Means to Me

Photography has always been my way of slowing down and noticing things I might otherwise miss. In Tokyo, that meant pausing to look at the way light bounced off a glass building, or how a narrow alleyway felt like its own secret world.

Now, by sharing these photos on Alamy, I hope they can inspire or support other creative projects—whether someone is writing about Tokyo, designing a website, or just searching for a little piece of the city’s magic.

This is just the start, and I can’t wait to keep building the collection. Tokyo has so many layers, and I feel like I’ve only begun to scratch the surface.
