Here is August 25 frim my 52 frames project
With the summer now behind us, lets look back on my images from August 25. A selection of images from my 52 frames project.
Week 31: Colour Temperature (mixed white balance)
With our Japanese adventure fast approaching, it was time to change our travel money. With the exchange rate of 198 yen to the pound I felt so rich with my thousands of yen in my hands! I wanted to create some drama with the colour temperature. So gave the highlights a yellow tone and my shadows a blue tone in a classic action movie style!

Week 32: Macro (focus stacking)
A quick phone snap in macro setting for this week as a place holder. I am away on my family holiday so won’t be editing any “big camera” pics until my return. I found this beehive in the visitor centre of Goyen Park, Tokyo.

Week 33: abandoned (HDR)
This is the only remianing building which formed part of Kawagoe Castle. It has a history of being abandoned. However, the long empty corridor also gave me a sense of abandonment.

Week 34: Low Key (one light source)
I picked up this fox (kitsune) fortune/charm from the Suga Shrine in Tokyo. Kitsune in Japan are depicted as intelligent, magical creatures with shapeshifting abilities, sometimes benevolent messengers of Inari, and other times mischievous tricksters.

Week 35: Reflections (upside down)
I wanted to create an unusual reflection this week. I went with taking two images and creating a composite to show a lit candle in the mirror.
