October 25: In Between Light and Time
Here is October 25! The 52 Frames themes pushed me to see everyday moments in new ways. I explored the rough and soft textures around me, played with shadows that turned light into shape, reflected on the passing of time, and experimented with centred composition to find calm in balance. Together, these photos capture a month of quiet observation and creative growth.
Week 40: Texture (used side lighting)
TIme for Dragony to act as a model for me again. I wanted to try something new, but time has escaped me again, so I went of a easy/obvious subject!! She is very picturesque though! I was able to use the spot light in the vivariam as a side light.

Week 41: Time (Day to Night)
Time waster…..As useful as the mobile phone can be, I am also guilty of wasting time using this thing. It is also the reason for my late snap this week! So it felt like a suitable subject for this theme.

Week 42: Shadows (DIY Gobo)
Due to a period of anticyclonic gloom in the UK I was limited to creating my own indoor shadows this week. I photographed my hand and then the shadow of the flower. I then blended the two images in a composite.

Week 43: Centred composition (4 leading lines)
This little fella visited my garden this week. We are lucky to see a lot of house sparrows in the trees and bushes in ouir garden. Today a few rested nicely in the sunshine for me to grab some pictures!
