May 25 – Images from my 52 frames project
Check out my seletion of photos created this month for May 25, where I capture images on a given theme every week for my 52 frames project. If you missed my images from April, be sure to check them out too.
Week 18: Negative Space (Adamski effect)
I opted to pay with a compostite image this week. A simple flame burning at the end of a finger. I took a photo of a candle and my hand. I then masked the flame onto my finger. I colour graded the image to give is a candle light glow.

week 19: Luxury (high end fashion shoot)
We were fotunate to have a Bank Holiday this week, allowing me to take some time out and relax! Weekends are usually filled with a list of chores, so to get an extra day to read a book, take a walk and relax was a real luxury!

week 20: water (water drop)
I spent an afternoon creating abstract images of oil on water. I used my phone to project some abstract colours , then placed a small dish over the phone. Then I changes the background pattern and stirred the oil bubbles until I found an intersting composition.
I tidied the image up in Photoshop as there were some scratches from the glass dish visable and a few bits of dust that had landed on the water.
I don’t know whether it is because I have been helping my daughter revise Physics for her exam, but I am getting space/northern lights vibes from this image! 🙂

week 21: High ISO (128000+)
I decided to photograph my pet bearded dragon for this challenge, as I though the grainy appearance on a high ISO image would work well with the texture of her skin. It definitely took me out of my comfort zone to photograph at such a high ISO!
